In collaboration with big star Sonu Sood, the company has created a microsite, ‘Ghar ki Baat‘, which features a video linked with the Covid situation.
With the second wave hitting us hard now, almost every home in India struggles with the covid situation. The storm has paralyzed the healthcare infrastructure and tested the patience of families.
However, amid the terrible circumstances, Wakefit has started a ‘Sabke Ghar ki Baat’ campaign. It is to pay tribute to the army of covid warriors working for people.
Also, it talks about how these warriors are constantly looking for medicines, hospital beds, oxygen cylinders, home food and vaccination information to make it available for people.
The campaign has been successful in celebrating the commitment and generosity of the power community. The direct-to-consumer (D2C) home & sleep solution brand invited the big actor and social activist to feature in the evocative campaign video. He, in the video, is narrating a poem about ‘ye sabke ghar ki baat hai’.
The beautiful poem sheds light on how this physical and emotional crisis is bringing out compassion among people. Moreover, it brings unity among people that they are all coming together as a single-family to help each other in this time of need, in both small and big ways.
Also, the campaign video praises the work of all the volunteers out there working. For example, techies, healthcare workers, home chefs and other institutions. Further, it also mentions the buildings and companies turning their infrastructure into hospital beds and arranging for oxygens, home food, medicines and vaccines.
The director and co-founder of Wakefit.co, Chaitanya Ramalingegowda, said the campaign is to empower the community and their relentless commitment. It also serves as a tribute to the unlimited kindness of our frontline workers who are doing their best to help others.
Thus, they are happy to have Sonu Sood as the soul and face of this campaign. He is an inspiring figure who brings hope and strength to the country, he added.
Wakefit is the best mattress brand in India, it has co-founded a volunteer-led initiative that includes all the real-time data of various covid resources. Moreover, it has served over 650k requests till now. The project is called Covid Citizen and is facilitating employees to work as volunteers for the initiative.
The company has also developed a microsite, Ghar ki Baat, which characterize campaign video and a link to the Covid Citizen website. In addition, it also contains a list of covid warriors, including communities and group working for helping people in covid times. Plus, links to donate to these heroes directly.
